This year, we are especially excited to launch this newest version of the Volunteer Reporter. As always, we have listened to you and implemented many of the improvements you requested. We realize the importance of reports because they enable you to get the answers you need. Therefore, we made the majority of the improvements to reports in order to make them easier and more flexible. We also made other changes to make the Volunteer Reporter even more user-friendly.

Some of the key features in Version 5.3 include the ability to:

• Export reports as PDF, Word, Excel, HTML, and bitmap files.
• Preview reports more quickly.
• View reports more easily. Lines now separate rows and columns.
• Email reports.
• Customize reports with headers, footers and page layouts.
• Widen screens for better viewing of longer names.
• Enter numeric entry fields with ease.
• Automatically update the Reporter by simply clicking on Help | Live Update. You are instantly linked to the web where your computer will be updated as well as all other computers on your network.

Numerous new reports were also created including:

• Mileage by Volunteer.
• Volunteer Phone and Email List.
• Station Address, Phone, Email List and Web List.
• Job Phone and Email List.
• Totally Inactive Volunteers, Partially Inactive Volunteers and Volunteers without Placements.

There are also many other new features not mentioned above. Please see the enclosed feature list for all the changes. We are confident that version 5.3 will help make your job easier.
