You have two good options. Either assign them to a new group called “Advisory Board” or set up an entirely separate data set for them. In the first case, a new group, you’ll filter them out of some reports. In the second case, a new data set, you’ll have to make any address changes in two places if they are also in your volunteers data set.

Make sure that you don’t have have two limitations canceling each other out. A silly mistake would be to have the state and zip code refer to different places.

Go to File | Preferences | Date Limits and push the 90 limit back or remove the checkmark that checks hours.
