Alternate Address, Reporter v.6.0
The Reporter assumes you want the main addres entered in the Volunteer’s Profile to be the current mailing address.
Usually when the volunteer is at an alternative address, that person is temporarily terminated. Remember to include terminated volunteers in a filter in order to send labels or emails to inactive volunteers.
When a volunteer has an additional address or more, you can set that farther down on the Volunteer Profile. By default those alternate address fields are labeled Multiple Addresses, but you can change the labels in Field Lists if you want. Notice that each address can be labeled within the address field, but that label, e.g., Home or Winter, etc., will not show up when the address is printed.
To add another address, click Edit Volunteer.
When you are in the Edit Volunteer mode, an edit button becomes available beside each address field. Click Edit.
Enter the Description of the new address, the address, and save it.
If you put the dot next to Mail to this address in Multiple Addresses 3 field, the Reporter will make that the primary address at the top of the Profile. Click OK.
You can customize the number of the Multiple Addresses fields to display from the File menu | Field Lists | Volunteer Fields. That field is line 123 when the Reporter is first installed, but it can be moved.
