When people first do a send-and-receive in the Web Assistant, they sometimes get a message to make a firewall exception:
Send & Receive Cancelled
Sorry, but I cannot communicate with
the Web Assistant. Your firewall
might be blocking communication.
Make sure your firewall allows
dBASE PLUS Runtime (PLUSrun.exe)
to communicate with IP address
50.56.227.125 over port 80.
- Your IT can change the firewall exception to point to volsoft.com and then it will always work no matter what server we use.
- Or they can change the firewall exception specifically to 50.56.227.125.
