Overview: The Volunteer Reporter works on any Windows network as a database using Windows file sharing. The only problem people sometimes have is misunderstanding the way the Reporter ought to be installed. Only the data resides on your server and each workstation runs an installation of the Reporter. The application is typically not installed on the server, except for remote servers.
We are not network support staff, nor do we have a Citrix environment for testing. Many of our customers report using the Reporter successfully over Citrix. Our understanding of Windows Terminal Server is limited, but we heard from some customers who run the Reporter successfully on it.
A few of our customers use Citrix in-house to centralize installation. Those who use Volunteer Reporter in remote locations need additional licenses for each location. We offer a generous discount for multiple licenses.
