NOTE: Where the Downloaded File is Saved in Internet Explorer
Windows Help informs us: When you download files using Download Manager in Internet Explorer, they’re automatically saved in the Downloads folder. This folder is usually located on the drive where Windows is installed (for example, C:\users\your name\downloads).
To set where to download files in Internet Explorer, click Tools (gear icon) | click View downloads | click Options (bottom left). There you can browse to the folder where you want to save downloads automatically.
