PINS for Touch-Screen Assistant and Web Assistant
The Touch-Screen Assistant enables your volunteers to enter their PINs and sign themselves in and out. You can coordinate the Touch-Screen Assistant PINS with Web Assistant passwords by using the same number for each. Although the Web Assistant password can be letters the Touch-Screen Assistant PIN must be numbers.
The Auto Assign button in the Touch-Screen Assistant lets you automatically update PINs whenever you add new volunteers.
The Auto Assign function will do one of two assignments:
- Use their Web Assistant password, but only if their Web Assistant password is just numbers and not already used by someone else in the Touch-Screen Assistant.
- Assign a random number starting with the number you designate. It will not duplicate another volunteer’s PIN.
